Moon begins my day Playfully bouncing light beams Through frost-laden treesFall Fishing

Dark-green in the black water
An occasional flash
Sun striking the fish
Scales luminous
Magnifying
Blue-white line cuts the surface
Slashing a z-like pattern
Mimicking the frenzy below
Rod bending, resisting
Pulling in a beautiful creation
Quickly released
Vanishing into the darkness
